Two individuals have been rushed to the hospital with severe injuries following a suspected attack by an American XL Bully dog in Nottinghamshire. The incident unfolded in the Hickling Court area of Mansfield late on Friday night, prompting swift action from local authorities.
According to the police, the woman is believed to have fallen from a window in the flat where the altercation began. The Nottinghamshire police quickly responded to distress calls reporting a large dog on the loose, causing harm to multiple people.
The authorities promptly seized the XL Bully breed from a nearby property and transferred it to secure kennels. Concurrently, a 38-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were apprehended on suspicion of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control.
While the injuries sustained are not currently deemed life-threatening, authorities have launched an ongoing investigation to determine the complete sequence of events.
