Kentucky Dairy Queen Staff Forced to Eat Ice Cream Contaminated with Cleaning Solution

Local source WKYT reported on Tuesday that the sheriff’s office is looking into allegations that workers at a Dairy Queen in Kentucky were made to consume ice cream that was tainted with cleaning solution.

Angela Patton, in an interview with WKYT, shared that her 17-year-old daughter was involved in the unsettling incident.

Around eight workers, some of whom are minors, were caught up in a strange scenario created by their supervisor. According to Patton, the manager required all employees to try the chocolate ice cream, regardless of their preferences, even though it was supposedly contaminated. The employee was let go due to not cleaning the ice-cream machine correctly, which led to the unusual consequence.

After tasting the poisoned ice cream, numerous staff reported feeling pain and burning. Despite the fact that Business Insider has not been able to independently verify these allegations, other people have sought medical assistance for their symptoms.

Local source WKYT reported on Tuesday that the sheriff’s office is looking into allegations that workers at a Dairy Queen in Kentucky were made to consume ice cream that was tainted with cleaning solution.

Franchise owner Steve Caudill promptly responded to the allegations, emphasizing the paramount importance of safety for both customers and crew members. In a statement to BI, Caudill acknowledged the complaints and assured a thorough investigation, currently underway. He also confirmed that the implicated manager is no longer employed at the Dairy Queen establishment.

Caudill further mentioned the franchise’s cooperation with local law enforcement, stating, “Know that we contacted local law enforcement to assist and we are fully cooperating with their investigation.” The Wolfe County Sheriff’s Office, as reported by WKYT, is actively investigating the claims.

Elijah Banks, a sheriff’s deputy, provided limited details about the ongoing investigation, citing the involvement of juveniles. However, county officials are reportedly in consultation with the county attorney to determine the next steps in the legal process.

Despite attempts to gather additional information, the Wolfe County Sheriff’s Office did not respond to BI’s request for comment, which was made outside regular working hours. The community awaits further developments in this unsettling incident as authorities diligently work to uncover the truth behind the disturbing events at the local Dairy Queen.
