El Paso in Line for COVID-19 Antibody Medicine

El Paso’s struggles with the COVID-19 pandemic have had one positive effect. The city is in line to receive a new antibody treatment for the coronavirus. Edward Michelson, the chair of the Emergency Department at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, says the city received emergency use authorization last week. He says the antibody will become another weapon that doctors will be able to use treat the more serious victims of COVID-19. The antibody could be delivered to El Paso by next week.
