A female figure skater playing the role of Belle from “Beauty and the Beast” suffered a serious injury on Saturday when she fell during a Disney on Ice performance in Minneapolis.

According to a release obtained by KARE 11, officials reported that the skater had a mishap and fell to the ice while being lifted into the air by another performer.

A performer, identified as Belle, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition on Sunday morning after a distressing incident during a routine lift.

The exact nature and severity of Belle’s injuries remain undisclosed at the moment, leaving the audience and concerned individuals in suspense. The incident occurred approximately 40 minutes into the 11 a.m. show, leaving spectators stunned.

According to witnesses, including a local mother named Beka, it was reported that Belle seemed noticeably nervous before the fall occurred. The incident took place during a lift with an actor playing the Beast. 

Beka expressed gratitude for the professionalism exhibited by the remaining staff and performers who continued with the show despite the distressing situation, emphasizing the preservation of magic for the young audience.
