DEA, DPS Joint Drug Crackdown Yields 14 Arrests

A total of 14-suspects are in custody in a Drug Enforcement Agency and Texas Department of Public Safety bust.

Yesterday, a statement from the El Paso County District Attorney’s office said the DEA and DPS joint operation put several criminal investigations together for the arrests. The move targeted illegal activity involving controlled prescription substances, mainly opioids. The report says as of yesterday, the 14-people now facing charges including eleven from El Paso, one from Socorro, one from Sunland Park and one from Roswell.
