Another COVID-19 emergency curfew is on the way for El Paso. Yesterday, Judge Ricardo Samaniego confirmed that he received Governor Greg Abbott’s blessing for a new social gathering curfew to begin Wednesday. The curfew is from 10:00-p.m. to 5:00-a.m. with a limit of ten-people per gathering. There are no business closures stipulated in the curfew. Samaniego says the curfew comes as the city and county deal with a new COVID-19 case and hospitalization spike. He calls on community members to limit gatherings during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday as a preventive measure.
