California Fertility Doctor Eric Scott Sills’ Shocking Murder Conviction Revealed

California fertility doctor, Dr. Eric Scott Sills, 58, has been found guilty of the murder of his wife, Susann Sills, nearly seven years after he reported her death as a result of a fall down the stairs.

The conviction comes amid revelations of strained relations, including a controversial nude photo posted online and a bet surrounding Donald Trump’s 2016 election.

Arrested in April 2019 over the 2016 killing, Dr. Sills, freed on $1 million bail, faced court proceedings this past month.

Prosecutors have put forth compelling evidence that undermines the initial narrative of a mere ‘fall down the stairs’.

The Orange County District Attorney’s Office has now made an important announcement, revealing the conviction of the accused for the grave charge of second-degree murder.

Details emerged in court, revealing that Susann Sills died due to strangulation, with blood stains found in their daughter’s bedroom, suggesting a violent struggle.

Prosecutors characterized the murder as a ‘staged accident,’ alleging Dr. Sills attempted to cover up the killing.

California fertility doctor, Dr. Eric Scott Sills, 58, has been found guilty of the murder of his wife, Susann Sills, nearly seven years after he reported her death as a result of a fall down the stairs.

The trial exposed a series of lover’s quarrels, including text messages where Susann posted a topless photo online after losing a bet about Trump’s election.

A chilling message from Susann indicated her desire to end the relationship.

Susann, co-founder of the Carlsbad IVF & infertility practice where Dr. Sills worked, had been married to him for over a decade.

The couple had two daughters, twins Mary-Katherine and Eric Scott II, who were around 14 at the time of the murder.

Dr. Sills, described as a doting father in the past, faces a possible sentence of up to 15 years to life. The sentencing is scheduled for March 15.

Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer called the doctor’s actions ‘diabolical’ and expressed gratitude to the jury for holding him accountable.

An attorney for Dr. Sills has not yet responded to requests for comment.
