Thomas Branigan Memorial Library will hold free basic computer skills classes in January. Each session is an independent class, and it is requested that participants have some computer skills prior to attending these sessions.
Registration is not required, however, only the first nine attendees will be guaranteed a computer. Attendees are welcome to bring their own laptops if space permits.
Windows 10 – Tuesday, January 15, 2 – 4 p.m.
This class will teach students how to navigate the most recent operating system. Topics covered are the new Start Menu, Cortana and how to customize the desktop.
Microsoft Word for Beginners – Thursday, January 17, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Students will learn how to create and format basic documents.
How to Create a Resume using Microsoft Word – Thursday, January 24, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
A class for those interested in creating a resume using a Microsoft Word template.
Classes will be held in the second floor computer training room at Branigan Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.
